Professional grading tools without a full editing suite around them.

01

Serial node grading

Stack, reorder, bypass and mix independent GPU grade nodes. Each shot can keep its own node tree.

02

Curves + secondaries

Use RGB curves, Hue→Hue/Sat/Luma curves, HSL qualifiers, skin isolation and tracked power windows.

03

Shot workflow

Detect cuts, grade shots independently, match a shot to the previous one and reuse grades from a still gallery.

04

Four live scopes

Waveform, vectorscope, RGB parade and histogram sit beside false-color and zebra monitoring.

05

Smart starting points

Auto Balance, reference matching and Command Grade create editable corrections instead of destructive mystery filters.

06

Local export

Render the same node pipeline used by the preview to browser-supported MP4/H.264 or WebM without uploading the source.

Local-first architecture

Your footage does not need a round trip to our server.

GradeLab uses the browser's media and graphics capabilities for the current MVP. That reduces upload waiting and keeps ordinary editing private by default.

Useful for

Fast grading jobs where opening a desktop suite is overkill.

FAQ

What GradeLab V3 supports.

Does GradeLab upload my video?

The current editor creates a local browser URL for the file you select and processes the preview in your browser.

Can I open it without installing software?

Yes. It is a static website. For best media support, use a current Chromium-based browser on desktop, tablet, or phone.

What export formats can it make?

GradeLab detects what your browser can encode. Current Chromium builds may expose MP4/H.264; WebM variants are used when MP4 is unavailable.

Is this already equal to DaVinci Resolve?

No. V3 adds serious browser grading tools, but Resolve still leads in wide-gamut/ACES color management, HDR, deep tracking, temporal noise reduction, semantic masks and high-precision pipelines.
